Rich earned a journalism degree from Syracuse University a few years ago. After that he worked in local news and in various roles for the Cable News Network (that’s CNN) in Atlanta and Washington, D.C.
A career change brought him into the think tank world, where he focused on writing and editing at The Heritage Foundation. He’s also edited a conservative news Web site, written and edited hundreds of freelance articles and done communications for national organizations. You can, of course, find him on LinkedIn or reach him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Personally, he describes himself as an expert editor, speedy writer and critical thinker (select any two). He teaches a writing class at George Washington University, writes and thinks (in that order) about politics. And sometimes sports. And sometimes the politics of sports. Personally, he’s the parent of an autistic adult, two non-autistic children, and he enjoys running.
